Who are we?
The Poodle and The Hen is an award winning, hobby poultry farm located on the outskirts of the Southern Highlands in NSW, Australia. We specialise in Standard White Leghorn and Light Sussex chicken breeding, building custom chicken coops, pens & runs and selling our own mix of premium chicken feed & crumble.
Chicken Coops
Owners, Trevor and Dayna, are both licensed builders and run building company Tredam Builders along with the farm. With their combined building and poultry expertise, they specialise in constructing chicken coops, pens and runs, along with barns and other animal shelters.
Chicken Feed
Together, with a poultry scientist, we have worked to develop The Poodle and The Hen speciality chicken feed. Our non-medicated, high protein feed has premium vitamins and minerals added to support the overall health of growing chicks and laying hens.
